The wave of raw food notion has spread much further than just a diet concept for us, humans. It should not come as surprise that animals can benefit from eating living foods just as much as we do. This idea was transformed into something that is now may be known to many pet owners as Biologically Adequate (Appropriate) Raw Food or BARF, for short. In spite of the odd sounding abbreviation, which hardly can constitute anything healthy, the concept of raw food for pets has the same goals as the raw food diet for humans.
The intent of this article is not to convince you to stay on the raw food diet but to help you overcome possible frustrations that you may encounter in the beginning of your transformations.
